RukaTonttu's story

Once upon a time, there was a gnome called RukaTonttu. He lived by the lake Talvijärvi, right next to Ruka. RukaTonttu dreamed of a place where he could relax and enjoy of great food and beverages in good company. The shore of lake Talvijärvi seemed to offer him a great location, where he could fulfill his dream.

RukaTonttu asked PubTonttu to help him with the beverages, so that visitors could enjoy after-ski or just have a good time. In addition to PubTonttu, RukaTonttu asked RuokaTonttu to help with the restaurant. Together they planned a great combination and a beautiful atmosphere where visitors could enjoy.

After hearing of RukaTonttu's plans SaunaTonttu wanted to come along and arrange sauna-services for the visitors. HuoneTonttu also got exited and said that they should also offer accommodation for the visitors. With the help of HuoneistoTonttu they created the hotel and apartments. And this is how RukaTonttu was born.
